Al-Mamoun University Delegation Participates in the “Russian Flag Day” Celebration

As part of an academic visit within the scope of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two universities, and in response to the official invitation of the Rector of Belgorod State University, a delegation from Al-Mamoun University participated in the celebration of "Russian Flag Day" on the campus of the Russian university. Led by Mr. Samer Adel Abd, Director of the Department of Student Affairs, the delegation was made up of thirteen students from Al-Mamoun University who had previously studied Russian at the Joint Russian Language Center in Baghdad, which was launched last February under cooperation between the two universities. In the ceremony, the Rector of Belgorod State University welcomed the Iraqi delegation, commending the growing academic relations with Al-Mamoun University. She emphasized the importance of proceeding with this collaboration in the fields of education, culture, and student exchange. On its part, Al-Mamoun University thanked Belgorod State University for the gracious invitation and welcoming hospitality and indicated its eagerness to enhance academic cooperation in a manner that helps to build up the scientific and linguistic skills of its students. This participation offers an excellent opportunity for Iraqi students to observe the Russian academic and cultural life directly and to interact with students from other nations, thereby enriching their learning experience and their cultural awareness.
