Professor Basil Mohammed Muhi Al-Deen, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at Al-Mamoun University’s College of Education, was a member of a doctoral dissertation defense committee at the University of Baghdad. The dissertation, by doctoral candidate Raed Taher Hamad of the Department of Arabic Language in the university’s College of Arts, is titled “The Diwan of Abu Talib (PBUH): A Textual Study.”
The defense was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 9 a.m. in Dr. Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi Hall.
Professor Muhi Al-Deen’s participation is part of the academic engagement of Al-Mamoun University faculty members with Iraqi universities and scholarly forums. It also helps support research and strengthen academic collaboration among universities.
