Message from the President

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Al-Mamoun University, a private academic institution that has held since its founding that university education is a mission before it is a profession, and that investing in people is the surest way to build a nation.

We are committed to an education that answers the needs of society and the labour market, combining sound theoretical knowledge with practical skill, in an environment that respects reason and encourages inquiry and creativity. We give particular attention to scientific research and to academic partnerships with universities and institutions in Iraq and abroad, as the path to knowledge that is constantly renewed and of real use.

To our students: you are the focus and the purpose of our work, and the doors of the university are open to you, your ideas and your suggestions. To my colleagues on the teaching and administrative staff: what has been achieved is the fruit of your dedication, and the responsibility we share calls on us to keep working as one team, to the standards of quality and academic accreditation.

I ask God to grant us all success in serving our students and our country.
