Admission for 2026–2027 is centralised through the Qaddim platform of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

• Eligible applicants: graduates of secondary school in the biological, applied, scientific and literary streams; graduates of teacher-training institutes in the corresponding specialisation, and of Islamic secondary schools.
• Minimum average to apply: 54.5% for morning study.
• Places are allocated competitively by average, order of preference and capacity.
• Applicants for morning study must have been born in 1996 or later.
• A medical examination meeting the requirements of the programme.

Annual tuition for 2026–2027: IQD 1,250,000,. Discounts are explained under “Fees and scholarships” on the admissions page.

Graduates work in fields including:

• Teaching Arabic in schools
• Proofreading and editing for media organisations and publishers
• Media and journalism
• Administrative and clerical work in institutions
