Program Objectives

The department seeks to create highly qualified administrative cadres that enhance the chances of success in the Iraqi business environment in a way that achieves leadership in it, relying on the core capabilities of the department and providing quality academic programs that are in line with the business environment and its rapid and continuous changes. Therefore, the department aims to the following:

1. Preparing graduates who hold a bachelor’s degree with a high capacity for efficiency and effectiveness in the field of business administration to meet the requirements and needs of the Iraqi labor market.

2. Developing and improving the creative thinking skills of students of the Department of Business Administration in order to help them deal in a scientific manner in making administrative decisions to confront business problems.

3-The department always works to attract intellectual capital (from faculty members) with competence and scientific specialization in the field of business administration.

Admission for 2026–2027 is centralised through the Qaddim platform of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

• Eligible applicants: graduates of secondary school in the biological, applied, scientific and literary streams.
• Minimum average to apply: 57.5% for morning study, 54.5% for evening study.
• Places are allocated competitively by average, order of preference and capacity.
• Applicants for morning study must have been born in 1996 or later.
• A medical examination meeting the requirements of the programme.

Annual tuition for 2026–2027: IQD 1,750,000,. Discounts are explained under “Fees and scholarships” on the admissions page.

The programme runs over four years on the semester system and includes summer training. Selected courses for each year are listed below with their theory and practical credit hours; the programme guide gives their syllabi.
