Program Vision 
A program specialized in English language and literature which seeks to teach the dynamics of different English cultures such thither students be able to serve their community. 
Program Mission
The mission of the program is set to offer a qualitative learning process in English language and literature and improve linguistic and research skills to be able coexist with various cultures.
Program Objectives
General objectives:
At the end of the program, the student should have built and improved his four language skills and ready to teach English.
Specific objectives:
1.   The student should be able to know the different genres and schools in English literature.
2.   The student should be able to use English as a communicative tool.
3. The student should be able to understand and analyze texts in English literature.

Admission for 2026–2027 is centralised through the Qaddim platform of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

• Eligible applicants: graduates of secondary school in the biological, applied, scientific and literary streams, and graduates of teacher-training institutes in the corresponding specialisation.
• Minimum average to apply: 54.5% for morning study, 52.5% for evening study.
• Places are allocated competitively by average, order of preference and capacity.
• Applicants for morning study must have been born in 1996 or later.
• A medical examination meeting the requirements of the programme.

Annual tuition for 2026–2027: IQD 1,750,000,. Discounts are explained under “Fees and scholarships” on the admissions page.
