About the programme

Program Vision

The department's vision emerges from the absolute belief in the inevitability of keeping pace with development and advancement in the fields of knowledge in general and knowledge of what is required by the mechanisms for dealing with computers and the resulting technologies and related information in communications in particular. Therefore, our vision is centered on developing the human energies coming to us as students and teachers. In the field of students, there is the preparation of applied engineers who have the ability to design, install, operate and maintain all computer systems and related devices, and are able to keep pace with modern knowledge developments in the field of computer technology engineering and emphasize teaching systematic scientific thinking in behavior and application. In the field of teaching staff and assistants, work is being done. To define an ordinal structure for those with expertise through their activities in scientific research, scientific seminars, and conferences in order to define and establish a university hierarchical structure for specializations that would suggest everything that enhances the state of scientific and practical development in the department.

Program Mission

Laying the foundations for teaching logical thinking to its members, students and teachers, and providing the community with specialists in the fields of computer technology engineering and armaments to practice continuous self-learning to confront the developments presented by the era, to facilitate the performance of their duties in the future in solving problems that society has no prior knowledge of solving, on the one hand, and spreading logical thinking to spread the culture of computing. On the other hand.

Program Objectives

1- Graduating cadres of technical engineers with a high level of understanding, knowledge, and psychological preparation capable of dealing with electronic systems and control systems using computers, in addition to communications and computer networks.

2- Focus on the practical aspect and give it a lot of attention by providing the latest laboratories in terms of equipment and software to ensure that the department’s output of technical engineers has sufficient experience to place them in the labor market.
